Last weekend we had headwinds and very tough races. Both Ebben-lofts did very well.

We started with a natour race from Chimay. Against 11,374 pigeons Comb. Ebben won: 2-4-22-106-134-316-380 etc (10 entered, 8 prize cards of which 70% 1/10 and 40% 1/100).

The first two birds were nestmates, both bred from "Linus" x "Peke". The first clocked bird (NL23-9147666) already won 1st Bierges 2,939 pigeons a few weeks ago and a lot of other top-prizes, just like his nestsister. Both are among the top-35 yearlings of the Netherlands (WBP).

1st Provincial Soissons 6,596 pigeons in Afdeling 8

On the youngbird race from Soissons W. & F. Ebben had the best result and won the 1st Provincal for the 2nd time in only 3 weeks. Against 6,596 pigeons we won: 1, 31, 69, 364, 368, 419, 784, 956 etc. We entered 13 birds and won 11 prizes. On average points nobody in our Province did better. The winning pigeon is a daughter of "Marnix" x "Paulina". It seems to be a good couple, Frans Strikker has a sister who is heading for the provincial ace pigeon championship in Afdeling 9 (one race to go).

W. & F. Ebben had the best provincial result with youngsters. 

"Paulina" is the mother of the 1st Provincial Soissons last weekend, but also mother to the 226 of Frans Strikker which is 1st in the intermediate Provincial ace pigeon standings of Afdeling 9 (one race to go).

Championships with only two races to go

We have only one natour- and one youngbird race to go and then the season is done. We are 1st in the Overall Provincal Championship and 1st in the Championship Natour in the whole province, so it is pretty exiting where we will end.
