After a slow start to the season, our pigeons delivered a powerful statement on the first French race of the year. On Saturday, April 26, the birds were released in Etroeungt (230 km) at 11:40 AM, flying home against a challenging northeast headwind — just the kind of conditions we prefer, where true class rises to the top.
Both W. & F. Ebben and Comb. Ebben delivered exceptional performances. In the largest competition group, with 387 fanciers/9,871 pigeons, we achieved the 2nd and 6th best overall results, earning the prestigious top-10 title of Grootmeester on both lofts.
A special mention goes to the loft run by Will, where the first bird not only arrived impressively early but also won 1st prize in federation against 2,567 pigeons!

Breeding Excellence That Shines
A striking detail: the first three birds across both lofts in this race are all direct children of NL19-1666890 “Odar”, a high-quality breeder we acquired from Gerard and Bas Verkerk.
Closely following were two offspring of our proven breeder “Linus” (NL16-1310994), each paired with a different hen. This once again proves that strong bloodlines make the difference when it counts.

This race marks a promising step forward in our season. The birds showed good form, and it's encouraging to see our breeding lines performing as hoped.
We’ll continue to share updates on our results through the website and social media.
