After a fantastic start to the season in May, June brought a few weeks of setbacks. It began with the disastrous race from Laon, during which several of our best birds failed to return 

On June 21st, 2025, Robert Maaß achieved an outstanding victory in the RegV group race from Lowicz (425 km). His hen “Lea” (DV 09024-22-2030 W) won 1st prize against 1,877 pigeons. 

This past Saturday, the third middle-distance race of the season took place. In Section 9, the race was flown from Châteaudun, and the 2nd NPO prize was won by pigeon NL24-8141006, raced by Jelle Jellema. 

The 2025 vitesse races have come to an end, and the championships have been decided. In Afdeling 2/Brabant 2000, NL23-9390962 was crowned 1st Ace Pigeon Vitesse — a pigeon with 50% Ebben bloodline!
