Dit seizoen was er één om snel te vergeten. Met name de vluchten vanuit Laon en Soissons, met onverantwoorde lossingen, verliepen zeer slecht en zorgden voor grote verliezen die hun sporen hebben nagelaten.
Natuurlijk waren er ook mooie momenten. De hele maand mei was fantastisch en ook daarna zijn er nog uitstekende resultaten behaald, maar het was niet zo’n constant seizoen als we gewend zijn. Dat gold overigens voor de meeste liefhebbers dit jaar.
Deze tegenslagen hebben Combinatie Ebben doen besluiten om het volgend jaar nog kleinschaliger aan te pakken. We gaan terug van 16 naar slechts 12 vliegkoppels en maximaal 40 jongen voor eigen gebruik zullen worden gekweekt. Daarnaast wordt de nadruk iets meer verschoven naar de One Loft Races.

Gelukkig zit het seizoen er na vandaag op en kunnen we de batterij weer proberen op te laden.
De laatste jonge-duivenvlucht is vanuit Melun. Combinatie Ebben heeft 8 duiven ingekorfd en ze zijn om 9:00 uur gelost. De wind komt uit het zuidoosten en het weer is mooi. We verwachten de duiven rond 14:15 uur.

This season was one to forget quickly. In particular, the races from Laon and Soissons, with irresponsible releases, went very badly and caused heavy losses that left their mark.
Of course, there were also great moments. The entire month of May was fantastic, and even afterwards some excellent results were achieved, but the season was not as consistent as we are used to. That was, however, the case for most fanciers this year.
These setbacks have led Combinatie Ebben to decide to scale down even further next year. We will go from 16 to only 12 racing pairs, and a maximum of 40 youngsters will be bred for our own use. In addition, the focus will shift slightly more towards the One Loft Races.

Fortunately, after today the season will be over, and we can try to recharge our batteries.The last young bird race is from Melun. Combinatie Ebben has entered 8 pigeons, which were released at 9:00 a.m. The wind is from the southeast and the weather is fine. We expect the pigeons around 2:15 p.m.
