In 2023 we met Henk Vonk Noordegraaf. An enthusiastic and ambitious young man who had just started (again) with pigeon racing. At that time he had some youngsters from Kees Bosua and Gert den Houdijker, with whom he participated in the races for the first time. Henk races under the name of his company, "Zorgboerderij Onze Missie", a day care for people of all kinds, including elderly people with dementia, drug addicts, etc. These people also help out enthusiastically on the farm and in the pigeon lofts.

Henk wanted to have pigeons from us. He bought some vouchers and thus obtained some eggs in 2024, the only way to obtain eggs from us is through vouchers. He also bought some pigeons from our father/brother Ton Ebben after he had stopped last year and from our '2nd loft' Arno van Benten from Renkum.

We soon noticed that Henk would be successful. His fanaticism and dedication know no bounds. In the first year he won among others 5th Provincial Morlincourt.

This year he also participated with Ebben pigeons for the first time. Last weekend he won the 1st prize in the natour from Rekkem (183 km) in Section 7/South against 5,188 pigeons and with the youngsters the 1st prize in Section 7 from Pont St. Maxence (337 km) vs 4,615 p.

The pigeon that won the natour race is descends from pigeons of Kees Bosua, the pigeon that won the 1st in Section 7 with the youngsters is of our strain. Henk got the father from our father/brother Ton Ebben and the mother comes from Arno van Benten. In the pedigree we see our ‘Indy’ several times and ‘Diablo’ is also represented several times. The mother is a full sister of the NL23-9132019 who won the Ultimate 600 race in the Avirings OLR last year, the father is a grandson of ‘Indy’. For the pedigree click here.
