After 5 weeks of racing, some pigeon fanciers already have shown their quality by performing more than average on the first races. Also Paul van den Berg and his namesake son did really well. They have several pigeons from us and each race a bird from our bloodline was their first clocked bird.

 

 

 

At may 4th they won 2nd against 9,550 pigeons with their first clocked pigeon. It was their NL09-2007754, bred out of NL08-1241465, a daughter to our NL03-2083516 'Roosje'. This cock was their 2nd nominated bird and already won 11th National Blois 24,866 pigeons and 9th Teletext Nanteuil la Houdoin 18,125 pigeons!! Their 2nd bird, NL11-1502531 won the 8th prize against 9,550 pigeons. This hen is bred out of 07-486, bred by us out of NL02-1319512 'Blauwe 512' x NL99-2004475 'Greetje'. This 07-486 is also father to 10-883 which won 1st Nanteuil 3,264 pigeons (5th Teletext against 18,125 pigeons), 7th Niergnies 3,061 pigeons, 8th Nijvel 3,751 pigeons and so on and to 11-606 which won 1st Sens 789 pigeons.

 

At may 11th Paul van den Berg and son started with the 13th and 15th prize against 3,042 pigeons. Both pigeons are bred by us. The first pigeon is NL10-1404036 and a daughter to NL04-5418004 'Zeno' x NL01-1505801 'Bontje'. The 2nd pigeon is NL09-2007787 and a daughter to NL06-1699327 'Benjamin' x NL01-1505801 'Bontje' (as an egg).

 

At May 18th the partnership from Benschop won 1st Sezanne 567 pigeons  (8th Teletextrace vs 7,913 pigeons). This pigeon, NL11-5005003, also comes directly from our loft. At Nijvel it was also their first clocked pigeon and won 29th Section 7/South vs 8,891 pigeons! This winner is a daughter to our Schaerlaeckens-breeder NL04-2055081 'Picasso' x NL08-1202818 'Peronne' (which we borrowed from Nico-Jan Koenders). We had a race from Morlincourt at May 18th and won the 1st prize in our club with a full sister (our NL11-5004969)!

 

'So the so the Ebbenpigeons perform splendidly again', Paul jr. emailed. That's certainly right!
