Yesterday the first long distance races were kept. Due to the bad weather a number of sections cancelled their races and others brought the pigeons back to shorter distances. 

Section 9/Eastern-Netherlands kept a race from Nanteuil le Haudouin. The birds were released at 10.30 a.m. and the winner arrived at 4.01 p.m. at Bert Wolf in Didam (391 kms). It was his NL14-1677772, which descends from 50% from our loft. His father NL12-1312115 was bred by us. He is a son to NL07-5708949 'Canon' x NL04-1678533 'Petra'. The mother of Bert's winner comes from famous vet Fernand Mariën from Tielen.



Last week Bert won 1st Niergnies 1,934 pigeons and now he wins 1st NPO Nanteuil le Haudouin 6,642 pigeons. Both winners are 50% Ebbenpigeons.
